Throughout the In:Site festival produced by Craftspace, Chloé coordinated up a textile making space called “Pocket Paradise”, encouraging participants to engage playfully with scrap fabrics and found objects. Chloé considers interaction with textile as an act of self-care. She believes caring for waste material is a way to engage with your well-being.

Chloé demonstrated how to upcycle soft materials and create small lucky charms you can carry in your back pocket and interact with, when needing to relieve your anxiety. She invited the audience to take part in this process and craft their own objects, tailored to the texture they like and their sensibilities. She will share spontaneous stitching techniques with participants, encouraging an intuitive approach to textile and craft.
